Bamboo frames ride smooth. The material naturally dampens vibration and road chatter, delivering comfort that rivals or beats stiffer materials, making this a responsive without being harsh ride. Craig Calfee pioneered the modern bamboo bike, and this is a direct descendant of that design. This is #86 in Calfee's bamboo bike history.
This is probably the most attractive frame we have in stock. An off-center brake bridge makes it "unique" and not suitable for riding. If you are interested we could potentially make the modifications needed but call to confirm.
Amber coloring throughout. Straight 1 1/8" head tube, BSA bottom bracket, 130mm rear spacing, rim brakes. 27.2mm seatpost. Carbon fiber reinforcement at the joints. Cable stops molded into the wrappings.
