Original Calfee Carbon Nautilus rim owners are protected by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, as determined by Calfee Design upon inspection.
5 YEAR CRASH REPLACEMENT & USE PROTECTION
Calfee Carbon Nautilus Rims damaged during normal use during first five years of original ownership qualify for a replacement, free of charge. Crash Replacement and Use Protection for Calfee Nautilus Rims is only available for wheels built by Calfee Design’s wheel building specialists. Replacement rims must be rebuilt by Calfee Design. Replacement does not cover wheel building labor, spokes, nipples, and hub costs. Calfee Design reserves the right to determine whether a rim was damaged during normal use.
STEP 1
Fill out warranty replacement form. An original receipt is not necessary, you must be the original owner (this will be verified).
STEP 2
Ship your damaged wheel to Calfee Design or bring it in person. Include your warranty confirmation email response with your wheels.
STEP 3
After we receive and process your damaged rim, we will send you a code to order a new one on our website for free. You’ll be expected to cover replacement parts and labor costs.
STEP 4
Order and receive your new wheel. Enjoy it for a lifetime!
WHAT OUR GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:
Misuse and Abuse
Our wheels are designed for normal riding, with tires inflated to the recommended pressure. Don’t ride without a tire. If your wheels are damaged in the event of a crash within the first five years, we’ll replace them.
Loss or Theft
Our policy does not replace missing wheels. Your original wheel must be shipped to us in order to receive a replacement. We can only control our product’s quality, but not where it is left behind. If you love it, keep it safe.
Other Damage
Don’t let your dog chew carbon. We love our dogs and our wheels; carbon fiber doesn’t make a good chew toy. Our policy does not cover any damage incurred outside of normal riding.
