The Tetra Tandem finds its roots in the first carbon bicycle to ever roll out of Craig Calfee’s garage. Tetra’s carbon tubing is unmatched in terms of durability and strength, favoring a lower modulus carbon to achieve a robustness suited for traveling, bike-packing, or whatever you have to throw at it.

The Tetra Adventure tandem can utilize molded chainstays and seatstays to offer a more comfortable and controlled feel over harsher terrain. The layout is designed to be vertically complaint, yet torsionally stiff, offering a supple rear end feel that doesn’t compromise pedaling performance.

Travel Friendly
Utilizing S&S couplers, you can now conveniently travel with your tandem to wherever your adventure takes you. We incorporate couplers directly into your tubing, allowing you to split up your tandem into two or three separate pieces. When you’re piling your tandem into the back of your car for a road trip, or traveling half-way across the globe for a race, the coupler design makes your adventure just that much more travel friendly.

Our Build kits are designed to compliment your Tandem with the best that the industry has to offer. We spec out each build with top level components that meet our standards of excellence and performance.
Our build kits include all parts and components including headset, stem, seatpost, bar tape etc. Size specific parts can be decided upon communication with us through the sales process. Traveling with Your Tetra Tandem?
Tetra With One Set Of Couplers
One set of couplers splits your tandem into two separate pieces, allowing for easy storage in your garage or car.
Tetra With Two Sets of Couplers
Two sets of couplers splits your tandem into three separate pieces, allowing for easy long-distance travel via planes or other tight traveling situations.
Travel Cases
Custom engineered hard-shell traveling cases to protect and pack your tandem. Travel case come fitted with tube protective wrapping to fit your specific tandem, custom fork mount, wheel bag, frame mounting points.
One big case option: The whole tandem fits in one big case. A single set of couplers is required. The packed case should weigh less than 70 pounds, which might mean carrying some components in another piece of luggage as some airlines limit the maximum weight to 70 pounds.
Compact case and Wheelcase option: Bike fits in one compact case and wheels go in separate wheel case. This is the current most popular option as it’s easier to manage two lighter pieces of luggage than one big one. You can also carry more stuff, like helmets, water bottles, shoes, etc. without going overweight. Most airlines will still charge for one bike fee even though it’s packed in two cases.
